What is it?
Biomedical informatics is all about using IT to manage healthcare information. Today we know more about health and disease than ever before. But to organise what we know properly – and make sure it gets to the right place at the right time – we need skilled staff.
Computer software that can help save lives. Digital X-rays you can call up anywhere. Electronic patient records. Think of almost any clever and useful way of using IT in healthcare, and you’ve probably got a biomedical informatics expert to thank.
Enjoy computers? Interested in health? Biomedical informatics could be just right for you.
